Noise Cancelling Earplugs

History

The earliest earplugs were invented in Europe. It is said that the fishermen in Scotland used a waxy earplug to resist the seductive voice of the sea maiden. The earliest earplug products also originated in Europe, and wax earplugs are the most traditional material. Later, due to the continuous research and development of new materials, an elastic material gradually became the mainstream of sound insulation earplugs. It is a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) foam sound insulation earplugs with slow rebound characteristics. The slow rebound earplugs will slowly swell in a few minutes after rubbing into a thin strip by hand, and gradually return to the original shape. It can completely shape earplugs of different specifications from person to person, which is convenient to wear. However, afterwards, the EU has a new definition of PVC products. They found that the PVC composition contains toxins, which is not suitable for making products close to the human body, and the use of this material is completely prohibited. Therefore, the material for making anti-noise earplugs abroad today replaces PVC with PU material.

Functional principle

Anti-noise earplugs (soundproof earplugs, static earplugs, sleep earplugs) are generally made of silicone or low-pressure foam material, high elastic polyester material. After being inserted into the ear canal, it comes into close contact with the external ear canal to isolate sound from entering the middle ear and inner ear (ear drum) to achieve the purpose of sound insulation, so that people can get a quiet rest or work environment.

Instructions

Scrub: Roll the earplugs into strips. The thinner the earplugs, the easier it is to wear.

Insertion: Pull up the upper ear corner and insert two thirds of the earplug into the ear canal.

Hold: Hold the earplugs for about 20 seconds until the earplugs swell and block the ear canal.

Pull out: When removing the earplug after use, gently rotate the earplug out.
